Meet the founder of London’s newest aesthetics clinic, Waldor Clinic…

With 17 years’ experience in skincare and aesthetics, Dor Bukobza is the founder behind London’s Waldor Clinic, combining advanced technology with a highly personalised approach to skin.

Dor’s journey in beauty began at 19, following the death of his father. Starting with very little, he built a career in skincare and went on to open several skincare stores across London. At 27, his career took an unexpected turn when Dor says he lost everything after discovering serious financial problems within the businesses he shared with partners. Rather than leaving the industry, he chose to rebuild. The experience changed the way he thought about business and, ultimately, the kind of clinic he wanted to create.

The idea for Waldor began to take shape during Dor’s travels to South Korea. He became fascinated not only by the technology being used, but by a different attitude towards skincare- one centred around prevention, consistency, and treatments tailored to the individual.

It was an approach that Dor felt was missing from much of the traditional clinic experiences in London. When he created Waldor, he wanted to combine technologies from South Korea and Japan with detailed facial analysis and treatment plans that could evolve with each client’s skin, rather than offering the same solution to everyone.

That thinking influenced the space itself, too. Dor had once dreamed of becoming an architect and interior designer, and Waldor gave him an opportunity to bring that side of his personality into the business. He was closely involved in designing the clinic’s Great Portland Street home, down to its furniture, finishes and statement pink onyx bar.

The result deliberately moves away from the traditional, white-walled clinical environment. Dor wanted somewhere that had the feel and attention to detail of a luxury members’ club, but without the membership or sense of exclusivity.

The same idea carries through to the treatments. Personalisation sits at the centre of Dor’s approach, with treatments selected around the individual’s skin concerns and goals rather than following a one-size-fits-all protocol. Waldor’s signature HydraGlass facial reflects this philosophy, combining multiple technologies within a treatment that can be adapted to the client.

For Dor, however, the bigger ambition is not about chasing perfection. It is about helping people look and feel like the best version of themselves, while making advanced skincare and aesthetics an experience that feels welcoming to both women and men.
