This season, British hair tool brand ghd together with haircare brand Wella Professionals have partnered with British fashion designer Victoria Beckham to create RICH SHINE, a hair trend unveiled at the SS24 show on Friday 29th September 2023.
In partnership with Wella Professionals and ghd, lead hairstylist Anthony Turner and team created a sleek and shiny hairstyle that is androgynous yet chic, using the ghd duet style 2-in-1 hot air styler, the first 2-in-1 hot air styler that dries and styles hair at the same time with no heat damage.
“The hair look this season is androgynous and confident. I wanted the hair to feel effortless and rebellious, turning the idea of femininity on its head and complimenting each of the girls' strength. Using Wella Professionals and the new ghd duet style, we created the look to really work with the proportions and fluidity of the collection in an elevated way,” says Victoria Beckham.
“ghd duet style is the first 2-in-1 hot air styler transforming hair from wet to styled with no heat damage. It cuts the amount of time that it takes me to dry the hair backstage and every minute counts!” says Anthony Turner.

“The inspiration is androgyny and handsome hair… at the same time healthy and expensive! Victoria wanted hair that didn’t conform… a hairstyle that was effortlessly rebellious to the idea of feminine and something that completed the collection’s proportions,” says Anthony Turner.
Prep
To wet hair, apply plenty of Wella Professionals EIMI Extra Volume Strong Hold Volumising Mousse and Sugar Lift Volumising Hair Spray to add structure and grit. Comb the hair into a very low strong side part.
Dry & Style
Next, work through the hair in sections with the ghd Duet Style which works on damp hair to dry and style simultaneously for sleek, smooth, shiny hair.
Finishing Touches
Once hair is dry use a soft bristle brush to brush hair flat with the hairline directed slightly back. Then, secure with elastic into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck.
Tame
Use Wella Professionals EIMI Mistify Me Strong Hairspray to secure fly always and EIMI Flowing Form Crème on the ponytail to smooth and shine.
