Schwarzkopf Professional UK Ambassador Philipp Haug (@philipp_haug), and a team of exceptionally talented stylists worked their magic backstage at Edeline Lee’s circus inspired runway show.
Renowned for its expertise in colour, care and styling, Schwarzkopf Professional is at the forefront of setting trends, both in the salon and on the runway. This season, the brand’s premium styling range, SESSION LABEL, was key to bringing Edeline Lee’s vision to life.
Leading the backstage team, Philipp Haug collaborated with stylists from Schwarzkopf Professional’s salon network to craft slicked back, modern and effortlessly cool hair looks.

Sleek modern ponytails at Edeline Lee…
- Prep the hair using THE MOUSSE from SESSION LABEL, spraying the product evenly into the hairline before blow-drying smooth.
- Using a wide tooth comb, create a strong parting on the left-hand side of the head. Create a triangular section of hair on top of the head and keep this section to one side, pulling the remaining hair into a ponytail.
- Using a brush, apply THE JELLY from SESSION LABEL to the top section of hair. Comb this section of hair over to the right-hand side, ensuring to maintain the comb marks, and bring this section into the main ponytail.
- Secure all hair with a clear elastic and finish with THE FLEXIBLE hairspray from SESSION LABEL to keep everything in place.
“This season’s inspiration came from the travelling circuses of the early 20th century, which was reflected in the collection’s ruffled collars and sculptural, circus-like silhouettes. To complement this, we chose to contrast the theatrical elements of the clothes with modern, sleek hair. Working across 12 beautiful models with a variety of hair types and textures, we created strong partings with hair swept back using THE JELLY from Schwarzkopf Professional’s SESSION LABEL.
