The countdown to Halloween is officially on and for the team at ROAR they could not be more excited!
Halloween is the perfect timing to get creative with colour and really embrace the creative vibes! Here, we speak to ROAR founder, Brian Leo McCallum on his Halloween colour favourites created by his ROAR Pride!
Carnelian Copper by Gavin
Fiery orange is the ultimate colour for Halloween! This look goes for full vibrancy, achieved through blending a mix of hot orange tones with rich, warm, copper tones for a striking look that’s sure to catch your eye. This look was cut shoulder length with some shaping to allow for some movement.
- Formula: No bleach, 7or topchic with orange and yellow pure pigments at the root and 7or colorance with orange and yellow pure pigments.
Berry Ribbons by Stef
If clients are wanting to add a pop of colour without committing to a full head, I recommend adding some lighter colour towards the end of the hair and leaving the roots darker. This vibrant berry colour looks amazing in contrast with darker roots, finished off with soft layers for some silky movement. This look can be easily maintained, since the balayage style will allow it to grow out naturally.
- Formula: Oxycur & 6% & bondpro then toned with 3/4 rv@all 1/4 pk@all.
Vibrant Rainbow by Courtney
This blend of pinks and reds is bold and beautiful. The pops of yellows and purples underneath add some extra dimension to the look, giving it a rainbow effect. This looks beautiful with the curls, accentuating the different tones. This look would really stand out with dark clothing often worn at this time of year.
- Formula: Isolate a halo section on the top from above the occipital bone, on the hair below apply alternating sections using yellow Elumen play, Violet Elumen play, pink Elumen play and orange Elumen play and then for the top halo use red Elumen play.
Emerald Dream by Courtney
This vivid green uses a blend of both lighter and deeper green shades, creating a multidimensional effect, looking gorgeous when it catches the light. This colour looks great styled into beautiful curls to show all the different tones. I recommend using a hair gloss to give this look extra shine.
- Formula: Oxycur + 6% + bond pro then full head colour application of green Elumen play and yellow (5 parts green to 1 part yellow).
