The team at Jason Hall Hairdressing show us how to achieve a perfect fishtail braid with their simple step-by-step guide.
- Pull all hair back into a loose ponytail - secure only with your hand (Image_1)
- Pull all hair back and split into two even sections (Image_2)
- Grab a small piece of hair from the nape of the neck from the section on the right side (Image_3)
- Take the small piece of hair and pull it out to the right and over the ponytail on the right and under the ponytail on the left. (Image_4)
- Repeat on the other side (Image_5)
- Keep braiding, taking the small piece of hair from the outside of each ponytail (Image_6)
- Keep the sections neat and the size of them similar
- Be sure to keep it tight or it won't stay in (Image_7)
- Continue until there is no more to braid and secure with a hair band (Image_8)
- If you want a messier look gently pull each section
