Olivia Garden backstage with Anna Cofone at Pauline Dujancourt AW26…

On 22nd February 2026, at the NEWGEN Space during London Fashion Week, hair visionary Anna Cofone partnered with Olivia Garden to create the hair looks for Pauline Dujancourt AW26 collection, Walking on Eggshells.

For AW26, Dujancourt reflected deeply on womanhood and the history of witchcraft persecutions, on the women accused in the name of fear, superstition and fantasy, and whose stories have largely been erased. Inspired by the writings of Mona Chollet and the absence of monuments dedicated to those lost during the witch hunts, the collection sought to reclaim memory, craft and legacy. The collection also honoured the women within the Pauline Dujancourt team, celebrating their unique craftsmanship and collective act of defiance through making.

This powerful narrative of restriction, control and ultimately reclamation was mirrored in the hair.

Anna Cofone using Olivia Garden tools translated the story into a silhouette that balanced precision with disruption, sleek and narrow at the front and sides, opening into a matte, windswept texture through the back.

“The look for today has taken inspiration from the collection, so Pauline has worked with this story of witchcraft and how women were controlled and very restricted in what they could do and so we wanted to mimic that in their hair. You'll see these really small silhouettes at the front and at the side where that for us is like the representation of restriction conformity and control and then through the back and from a side profile you'll see this beautiful quite matte texture where the hair is a bit messed up and so for us that was a representation of breaking away, she's breaking away from the control.

Our hero tools from the amazing Olivia Garden range are the Expert Care Oval Brush and the Blend Brush. With the Expert Care Oval Brush we are using it to push the hair into shape before applying the product and then we're also using it in the lineup to just break up moments where it feels too controlled so that it really marries into the rest of the hair at the back.

Our second hero tool from Olivia Garden is the amazing Blend Brush, absolutely loved this when we were building the shape and the control at the front and at the sides as we didn't want to create any extra volume and so this was just really wonderful at allowing us to push the hair into shape without getting volume and gave us a really lovely smooth canvas.” - Anna Cofone for Olivia Garden

By pairing Dujancourt’s intricate craftsmanship with deliberate, textural hair direction, the show created a cohesive narrative of strength, femininity and quiet rebellion, honouring the women of the past while celebrating those shaping the present.
