Authentic Beauty Concept teams up with Chloé and Paul Hanlon for SS26 Paris Fashion Week show in Paris.
Authentic Beauty Concept proudly unveils its continued collaboration with Chloé at Paris Fashion Week SS26, marking a new chapter with the debut of celebrated hairstylist Paul Hanlon for the Maison. For the fifth time, Authentic Beauty Concept joins forces with Chloé, elevating and complementing the collection through the authentic hair artistry of Paul Hanlon.
Entre Deux
The Chloé Spring/Summer 2026 collection expands the house’s language, taking it into new and unexplored territory while reflecting on why and how Gaby Aghion founded Chloé. Creative director Chemena Kamali brings couture sensibility to everyday materials like cotton poplin, creating an effortless yet considered silhouette. The result is an “entre deux” - a poetic balance between structure and ease, couture and ready-to-wear. Embodying lightness and movement through fluid draping and refined craftsmanship, it celebrates creativity and freedom at its core.
A celebration of natural confidence
The collaboration between Authentic Beauty Concept and Chloé embodies a perfect union of values, a shared vision of effortless elegance, natural beauty and individuality. As lead hairstylist Paul Hanlon describes, “When you think of Chloé, it's that very effortless chic, that French cool, slightly bohemian spirit. It’s about confidence without being over-considered.” This philosophy aligns seamlessly with Authentic Beauty Concept’s ethos, which celebrates authenticity, texture, and the unique beauty of every woman.
Hanlon continues, “It’s all about celebrating the models’ natural kind of beauty and the natural texture of their hair. It could almost look like they’ve just walked from the street through the show.” This natural, lived-in look, effortlessly refined and full of movement, perfectly complements Chloé’s spring-summer energy, a collection defined by lightness, freedom, and the poetic balance between structure and ease.
Backstage, Authentic Beauty Concept products stand out not only for their performance but also for their thoughtful formulation. As Hanlon notes, “What makes the products stand out, not just at this show but at Fashion Week in general, is their versatility. They’re light, so you can build them up, it’s not heavy or harsh on the hair.” After weeks of travel through New York, London, Milan, and Paris, models’ hair has been through a lot, yet Authentic Beauty Concept’s high-quality, gentle ingredients keep it protected and nourished. Their lightweight, buildable textures allow for adaptability, which is essential in an environment where every look must evolve quickly and naturally.
When it comes to his personal favourites, Hanlon highlights two products that capture the brand’s philosophy of mindful beauty. “I really love the Enhancing Water. I love the versatility of it — you can use it on your skin and in your hair. It’s the kind of product you would want to take on holiday, something that hydrates and detangles the hair while also moisturizing the skin.” He also praises the Hand and Hair Light Cream, which was used on some of the models backstage. “It’s great for finer hair types where wax might feel too heavy. It gives a soft, natural finish with just the right amount of intention.”
Get the look
- Prep: Mist the Flawless Primer onto clean hair to detangle and calm fluffiness. Avoid over-brushing; use fingers or a wide-tooth comb to preserve the natural texture.
- Volume: Work Amplify Mousse around the hairline, then hand-dry to encourage a soft, natural bend. Layer a second small application where extra lift is needed.
- Texture: Apply Airy Texture Spray underneath the back sections to create a soft, static, pillow-like texture that adds movement and natural lift.
- Definition: With fingertips, smooth Solid Pomade along the hairline for a subtle, dewy sheen that contrasts the dry texture through the back. Use less on fine hair, more on fuller textures.
- Finish: Loosen with fingers or a comb to break up the shape, then mist Working Hairspray over the back to tame strays and hold the cloud-like volume in place. Finish with a touch of Strong Hold Hairspray to lock in the movement.
Said Rubaii, Authentic Beauty Concept Advocate who assisted backstage, adds: “The products made it easy to achieve a look that, for me, comes down to three words - effortless, cool, Parisian chic.“
By extending its partnership with Chloé and welcoming Paul Hanlon as lead hairstylist, Authentic Beauty Concept continues to champion uniqueness, natural sophistication, and modern ease at Paris Fashion Week.
