The Hair
TONI&GUY Global Creative Director, Cos Sakkas, led the TONI&GUY Session Team in creating a look that reflects the collection’s balance of strength and softness. A tightly pulled, low ponytail creates a strong, rebellious silhouette, while sculpted detailing introduces a softer, more refined element. The contrast between precision and elegance mirrors Ahluwalia’s celebration of resilience, self-expression and human softness.
The Collection
Titled “Revel,” Ahluwalia’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection explores joy as a form of resistance, celebrating optimism, togetherness and the people who make choosing lightness possible. Inspired by photographs of former Black Panther members at home and at rest, alongside the communal energy of FESTAC ’77, the collection considers self-care, celebration and gathering as powerful acts of connection. Music runs through the collection, drawing on the rhythms of Fela Kuti and the energy of Mumbai’s underground rap scene.
