I have naturally very dark brown hair, pale skin and blue eyes. My hair is just starting to go grey and I want to have it dyed but I do not know what colour would suit me. I would like to go lighter or have highlights, I would be grateful for any suggestions.

There are a number of different things that you can do with your hair colour depending on what the overall effect you would like. I would say that you still remain as a brunette, if going lighter your eyes against the colour will stand out beautifully.
One option if you want to cover the grey completely is to opt for a tint - as you want to make the hair lighter this will have to be a permanent. It is a perfect opportunity to dive into the magical world of colour, but I would highly recommend seeking out a professional.
Depending on how much grey there is, you can use a semi-permanent with 4% which would still give coverage giving a softer result. Another option is to do lowlights and highlights, but you will need to decide how light you want the overall look to be.
