Hi,
I dyed my hair which turned bright orange at the roots and a darker ginger colour on the lengths! What can I do to get rid of the orange colour? I cannot afford the hair salon and my school isn't happy.
Please help!

So, to get rid of the orange colour you could go darker to a natural brown shade, but if you want to stay lighter than that, you’ll need to visit a salon and get some fine highlights with a soft peroxide. Within a few steps you could go lighter and with the addition of toner you can reach the blonde you want.
If you really can’t afford the salon, you could go to a salon supplier and get the products yourself, but it’s not really advisable as you could easily damage the condition of your hair through over-processing. Whatever you do, be sure to look after colour-treated hair with a professional quality shampoo and conditioner, like Bumble & bumble’s Colour-minded range, which doesn’t contain the sulphates that normally strip the colour, meaning the colour will last much longer and the hair will remain in good condition.
